It opens with cucumber, mint and bergamot, a cool, watery, slightly herbal start that is more vegetable garden than fruit bowl. The heart is rose with pear and violet, the rose kept fresh and green, the pear adding a gentle juiciness and the violet a soft, powdery touch. The base of chypre notes, iris and musk is quiet: a hint of mossy dryness, more powder from the iris, and a clean musk to carry it out.
