It opens with Amalfi lemon and lavender, bright and herbal in the manner of a classic fougère, clean and slightly barbershop. The heart is a single note of orange flower, soft and faintly honeyed, which gives the middle a smooth, floral roundness. The base of Virginia cedar, patchouli and vanilla is dry, pencil-shaving woods with a sweet, creamy edge that makes the drydown warmer than the opening suggests.
Most wearers report moderate longevity and moderate sillage, with a quarter finding it intimate, so it stays close and inoffensive. It is voted for spring and summer and split fairly evenly between day and night, which makes it an easy, versatile scent for everyday wear.
