Blackcurrant is the sole opening note, tart, juicy and a little leafy, which gives the scent its green edge before the sweetness arrives. The heart is May rose, soft and classic, alongside davana, a herb with a boozy, dried-fruit character that adds depth and a slightly liqueur-like warmth. The base layers bourbon vanilla and vanilla with black tea, so the finish is rich and sweet but held in check by a dry, tannic note.
