Icon, from the French house Franck Boclet, is a sweet fruity floral released in 2018 and composed by Bruno Herve. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, three quarters add gourmand, about half citrus, and a minority musky. It is worn by anyone.
Grapefruit and lime give a sharp, zesty start, quickly joined by exotic fruits and softer fruity notes that turn the opening sweet and juicy. Rose, violet and carnation make up the heart, the rose jammy, the violet powdery and candied, the carnation adding a faint clove-like spice. Iris cools the middle with a drier powder, and vanilla and musk form the base, creamy and clean, which is where the gourmand impression comes from.
There is no community data yet on longevity or projection. Fruit, powdery flowers and vanilla suggest a scent for daytime and milder weather, and a wearer who likes sweetness with a floral rather than a woody finish.
