It opens with aldehydes, sparkling and slightly waxy, over bergamot, honey and mimosa, so there is sweetness from the start. The heart is Bulgarian rose and Egyptian jasmine with peach for ripeness, heliotrope for an almond softness and orris root for powder. The base is where it turns animalic: leather and castoreum give a warm, slightly feral depth, oakmoss and vetiver a dry, mossy bitterness, and labdanum, sandalwood and musk round it out.
It is worn by anyone. Most wearers call the longevity eternal and the rest long lasting, and sillage is strong for half and enormous for a third, so apply sparingly.
