Apple, pineapple and plum give the opening a juicy, slightly syrupy sweetness that explains why everyone who has described it calls it gourmand. Bergamot cuts through with citrus, and lavender adds a clean, aromatic, slightly herbal note. Cardamom brings a warm, green spice in the heart. The base is dry and earthy: cedar and vetiver give a crisp, smoky wood, and musk softens the finish and keeps it close to the skin.
