Green Tea Lavender is a light, clean, herbal scent from Elizabeth Arden, released in 2010. Everyone describes it as musky, aromatic and citrusy, and about half also find it green, floral and faintly leathery.
It opens with mandarin orange and lemon for brightness, chamomile for a soft, hay-like herbal note, and mint for coolness. The heart is tea, slightly dry and astringent, with lavender bringing its familiar soapy calm and magnolia a lemony floral softness. The base is quiet: ambrette, a plant-derived musk with a skin-like warmth, plain musk, and birch, which adds a thin smoky, tar-like line that explains the occasional leather impression.
Longevity is reported as moderate at best, with a third finding it weak, and projection is split between moderate and intimate, so this is a scent for you rather than the room. Summer and spring lead the votes and it is mostly worn by day. It suits hot weather and anyone who wants something fresh and calming without sweetness.
