The opening is bright and peppery: bergamot and grapefruit give a zesty citrus, and pepper a dry spice. The heart is aromatic and spicy, with vetiver and patchouli bringing an earthy depth, elemi a lemony resin, lavender and geranium a herbal floral note, and Sichuan and pink pepper a tingling freshness. The base is cedar and ambroxan, a dry woodiness with a powerful, mineral ambery glow.
