Acqua Wood is a fresh, aromatic woody scent, released by the Italian house Collistar in 2015, composed by Daphné Bugey and intended for men.

Lemon leaf and bergamot open it with a bright, green citrus, sharpened by black pepper. The heart is herbal and warm: lavender and sage give an aromatic, slightly camphorous freshness, labdanum a soft, resinous warmth, and ambroxan a smooth, mineral amber that runs through to the end. The base is woody, with cedar for dryness, sandalwood for creaminess, guaiac wood for a faint smokiness, and musk for a clean finish.

It suits spring and summer and daytime wear, in an office or outdoors. Anyone who likes clean, aromatic woods with a modern amber base should find it an easy choice.
