Bergamot opens it cleanly, and orange blossom adds a soft, honeyed floral light in the early stages. Tea brings a slightly tannic, dry greenness that is unusual in a vanilla scent and keeps the first hour from being purely sweet. Madagascar vanilla is the centre, rich and creamy, with caramel pushing it a little further towards sweetness. Haitian vetiver and cedar in the base pull the other way, giving a dry, earthy, pencil-wood finish that stops the vanilla from becoming cloying.
It is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. The balance of sweet and dry suggests it can work in cooler weather without feeling heavy, and it suits people who want a vanilla that smells grown-up rather than confectionery.
