The opening is fruity and a little boozy: davana gives a sweet, apricot-and-rum-like note and blackcurrant a tart, jammy edge. The heart is tuberose alone, creamy, heady and slightly rubbery in the way the flower is, with none of the greenery that some tuberose scents use to lighten it. The base deepens things further, with vanilla absolute bringing a dark, thick sweetness and myrrh a dry, slightly bitter, balsamic warmth that keeps the drydown from being purely sugary.
