Galanga, ginger and anise open with a warm, aromatic spice, brightened by bergamot and mandarin. The heart brings iris, which adds a powdery elegance, vodka a cool, clean edge, and black locust a soft floral note. In the base, dark chocolate gives a bitter-sweet richness, labdanum and incense a resinous smoke, and amber and musk a warm finish.
About half of wearers find its longevity moderate, and most report moderate sillage. It is voted for autumn and winter and mostly for evenings. It suits dinners and cooler weather, and someone who likes spiced, chocolatey ambers with a powdery iris touch.
