Bergamot, verbena and lemon verbena open it with a sharp, lemony, slightly herbal brightness that sets the tone. Pepper adds a dry, warming spice. Vetiver is the heart and backbone, earthy and faintly smoky, giving the citrus something rooted to sit on. Birch brings a tarry, leathery edge that explains the leather impression, and amberwood closes the scent with a dry, warm radiance.
Reports on longevity and sillage have not yet been collected. By character it is a daytime scent for spring and summer, crisp and clean for work or warm evenings, and suits anyone who likes fresh vetivers with a little smoke. It is sold in a large bottle.
