The opening is cherry sharpened by pink pepper and bergamot, more like a dark fruit than a sweet syrup. The heart brings heliotrope, which smells of almond and marzipan, with orange blossom and a black vanilla husk note that is dry rather than custardy. The base is soft and slightly powdery: violet and tonka bean over white musk, cashmere wood and labdanum, with ambroxan adding a faint mineral glow.
