Heritage Intense, from the British brand Barbour, is a woody floral composed by Jean-Charles Mignon and released in 2024. Spice and green sides follow strongly, with lighter amber and citrus touches.

Bergamot and pink pepper give a bright, sparkling start, and elemi adds a cool, lemony, aromatic resin. Green notes bring a fresh, leafy crispness, and plum a dark, juicy fruitiness. The heart is a rich white-floral bouquet: jasmine sambac and tuberose creamy and heady. The base is woody and mossy, with oakmoss giving a damp, forest-floor greenness, guaiac wood a smoky resin, and sandalwood a smooth, creamy structure, finished with a warm ambery glow.

Worn by anyone, it suits autumn and spring, country walks and smart casual occasions. It should appeal to those who like mossy, traditional woods softened by white flowers.
