In practice that means a bright, zesty opening that quickly gains a sweet, slightly glittery floral quality, the sort of abstract, polished flower accord that is hard to pin to a single bloom. The woods underneath are soft rather than dry, with vanilla smoothing them into something plush, and the leathery impression some people get probably comes from that combination of wood and sweetness.
