Noir Obscur by Antonio Alessandria (2014) is a floral fragrance with wood noticed by most people, and smaller groups finding amber, citrus, musk and leather.
Tangerine and orange give a bright, juicy opening, while artemisia adds a bitter, herbal green and spicy notes a light warmth. Rum brings a boozy, dried-fruit tone. The heart is a rich floral blend: Bulgarian rose and rose for a velvety bloom, jasmine for creaminess, osmanthus for an apricot-like softness and iris for a cool, buttery powder. The base is dark and textured, with leather for a smooth hide, incense for smoke, cedar and vetiver for a dry, earthy wood, patchouli for depth, and amber and musk for warmth.
Noir Obscur is shared and can be worn by anyone. As the name suggests, it is a dark, brooding floral for autumn and winter evenings, and should appeal to people who like rose with leather and incense.
