Hidden Shores, a 2023 fragrance from Agarthi composed by Cécile Matton, is mainly woody, with a strong green side and smaller gourmand, floral and amber touches.

The top notes are fresh and tart: juniper berries give a crisp, gin-like freshness, black currant a dark, juicy berry note and pine tree an evergreen, resinous lift. In the heart, Bourbon geranium brings a green, slightly rosy floral note, immortelle a warm, honeyed and hay-like sweetness, and violet leaf a cool, leafy greenness. The base evokes a forest by the sea: Bourbon vetiver gives an earthy dryness, cedar a clean woodiness, oakmoss a damp, mossy depth and balsam fir a soft, resinous warmth.

The profile suggests autumn and spring, daytime and outdoor occasions, as well as cool evenings. It is meant to be worn by anyone who likes green, forest-like woods with a fruity opening and a honeyed immortelle heart, and who prefers natural, outdoorsy scents to sweet or heavy ones.
