Malaga is woody first, with musk and citrus noticed by most wearers and spice, green notes and amber by a minority. The Qatari house Al-Jazeera Perfumes released it in 2021, Jean-Louis Sieuzac composed it, and it is worn by anyone.
Lemon and mandarin orange open it bright and clean, and petitgrain adds a bitter, leafy green edge. Coriander brings a dry, slightly peppery spice in the heart, and sandalwood flower introduces a soft, creamy floral-woody note. The base is where it settles: cedar for a dry, pencil-shaving wood, patchouli for earth, tolu balsam for a warm, resinous sweetness, and a pair of musks, including an island musk, for a clean, lasting softness.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported. Citrus over cedar and musk is a daytime structure that suits most of the year, and it should appeal to anyone who likes clean woods without heavy sweetness. It is offered as a bottle without a stated volume.
