Citron Citron is a herbal citrus from the British house Miller Harris, composed by Lyn Harris and released in 2000. Everyone who describes it calls it citrusy, about two-thirds also find it spicy and aromatic, and a third green or woody.
The pyramid is simple and Mediterranean in feel. Sicilian lemon and lime open sharp and sunny. The heart is a kitchen garden of herbs: basil, mint, marjoram and thyme, giving a green, slightly peppery, savoury freshness that keeps the citrus from being merely cologne-like. The base is cardamom and spices over cedar and oakmoss, adding a dry, aromatic warmth and a mossy depth beneath the herbs.
Citron Citron is shared and worn by anyone. It is a warm-weather, daytime fragrance by nature, suited to summer mornings and to someone who likes their citrus bitter and herbal rather than sweet. It is sold in a 100 ml bottle.
