Ambroxan is a synthetic that recreates the warm, mineral, slightly salty side of ambergris. On skin it reads as a soft, dry, radiant warmth with a faintly woody, musky edge and no sweetness, closer to warm skin and sun-dried driftwood than to the vanilla-heavy ambers most people know. There is no opening, heart or base; it simply sits at one volume and slowly fades, and wearers often notice it less than the people around them do.
