It opens with red apple alone, a crisp, slightly sweet fruit note. The heart is peony, jasmine and carnation: peony brings a fresh, rosy, dewy quality, jasmine adds richness and carnation a clove-like spice. The base is leather and amberwood, so the drydown turns smooth, warm and a little smoky, giving the pretty floral opening an unexpected backbone.
