Respect

Respect by David Beckham, released in 2017, is a spicy, aromatic woody scent for men. Everyone describes it as spicy, woody and aromatic, and about half also find it green, fresh and citrusy.

The notes are listed together. Grapefruit opens it with a sharp, bitter citrus, and watermelon adds an unexpected cool, watery sweetness. Pink pepper and cardamom give a bright, tingling spice. Lavender and basil form the aromatic heart, clean and herbal with a slightly peppery, green edge. The base is vetiver, patchouli and oakmoss, smoky, earthy and mossy, which is where the woody character settles and the freshness gives way to something drier.

There are no community reports yet on how long it lasts or how far it carries. Grapefruit, basil and vetiver suit spring and summer daytime, for someone who likes a fresh, herbal masculine scent with a bit more spice and depth than a plain citrus.
