Marine

Marine, from the Italian house Cave, came out in 2024 and is first and foremost fresh, with musk and flowers close behind and quieter sweet and woody tones in the background.

The opening uses marine notes, sea water and ozonic notes to create the airy, salty impression of a sea breeze, clean and slightly mineral. Flowers then soften that freshness: lily of the valley brings a dewy, green brightness, cyclamen a watery, transparent floral note, acacia a light, honeyed touch and ylang-ylang a creamier, more exotic sweetness.
