Club de Nuit Urban Man

Club de Nuit Urban Man, released by Armaf in 2017, is a woody, spicy fragrance for men. Everyone who describes it calls it woody, most add spicy, and about half find it aromatic or citrus, which places it among fresh, versatile masculine scents with a warm backbone.

The notes are given as one list, but the structure is familiar. Grapefruit, bergamot and mint open bright and cool, with ginger, cardamom and nutmeg adding a warm, slightly peppery spice behind them. Lavender gives the aromatic, clean-shaven character in the middle. The base is a classic woody blend: cedar and sandalwood for dry and creamy wood, vetiver for smoky grass, patchouli for earth, and oakmoss for a dry, bitter, forest-floor finish.

Wear reports have not yet settled into a consensus. On character it is an everyday scent for the office or daytime, comfortable in most seasons, for someone who wants a fresh masculine fragrance with more spice and wood than the usual aquatic.
