It opens with mandarin orange, cinnamon and peony, a sweet citrus with warm spice and a fresh, slightly rosy floral note. The heart is where it becomes unusual: rose sits with cocoa, which adds a dry, bitter-sweet chocolate depth, and truffle, which brings an earthy, slightly savoury richness. Champagne adds a fizzy, faintly yeasty brightness and iris a cool, powdery polish. The base of agarwood, vanilla, amber and musk is warm and soft, the oud giving a resinous wood, the vanilla and amber a sweet glow, the musk a skin-like finish.
